History

We've more than 20 years experience in software development and managing complex systems. In the early days of the Internet, we were involved in delivering the early incarnations of some well-known Internet services. Our experience led to the development of our news search technology.

In 2002, we built a prototype news search and monitoring application. This was unique at the time as it was delivered in the browser without installing software. This software prototype evolved into our Electricsearch product.

Over the last 20 years, we have invested significantly in research and development primarily focused on news search. Our continuing profits from sales, has allowed product development that focuses on technology rather than return for investors.

In 2021, we published a beta API that allows organizations access our real-time index of news, press releases and blogs.

What we do

The world of news is dynamic and may be even chaotic. News cycles are unpredictable and most publishers choose their own formats for delivering news. ZENARK brings structure, reliability and dependability to this dynamic stream of unstructured data.

Our JSON REST API provides access to news stories collected from thousands of global sources. The API enables rapid integration without additional skills or technologies. Our customers are building a wide variety of applications including brand and reputation monitoring, AI model training, mobile news applications and trend forecasting. These disparate applications have a simple common requirement ‐ a robust, reliable and consistent news stream.
